With an accredited foundation in best practices in corporate governance with his NACD Board Leadership Fellow in the U.S. and his ICD.D in Canada, Mr. Roustan understands when Boards and their Directors act in the best long-term interests of each of their stakeholders. As a founding Director of NACD Corporate Director Institute, Mr. Roustan supports and promotes Director education and Board excellence.

Mr. Roustan has made numerous investments in the manufacturing, consumer products, aviation, sports and entertainment industries, and is well known for pursuing high-profile global brands.

As an example, in 2008, he led a group which acquired Bauer Hockey from Nike and became its Chairman of the Board and led Performance Sports Group Ltd. through its Initial Public Offering in March 2011. After his five year association with Bauer as its Chairman, he left the Board in 2012 with Performance Sports Group in excellent financial condition and Bauer number one in the industry.

His wholly owned portfolio includes The Hockey News, Roustan Hockey, McKenney Hockey, McKenney Lacrosse, Christian Hockey and Torspo Hockey to name a few consumer brands.
