The world is changing rapidly and not always for the better. But we are creatures of habits, so we need to find a way to keep up or is it better to slow down a bit more often? Right now I'm seeing it as a Balancing Act, find the right amount of both worlds and you'll perform at your personal best!

How can you use artificial intelligence to improve demand planning? ### Task complete ###?
I worked with NeoGrid's DRP system in the past in a retail store environment. It was amazing to see how such precise inventory control was such a mega contributor in making sure the right products were available at exactly the right time. I'm sure with the more free availability of AI this will only improve the DRP but I agree that for now a Human Eye should still make sure that whatever is proposed is actually correct. Or make absolutely sure all factors have been accounted for in the calculations. As an example, even when a store is able to sell HUGE amounts of a certain product, you don't want to take up all the Retail stores Warehouse Space for just that item. More frequent replenishment's are then needed.

How can you manage procurement and supply chain aspects of control systems design projects?
I'd say one important final step is missing from what is a great summary of how to go about this project. Obviously for procurement projects the financial aspect need to be sound, but for my personally I focus a lot on how the communication with the supplier / potential supplier flows. During but especially after the project is completed and the actual business starts, Emphasize on the fact that it is a partnership, show empathy & discuss the options on how you can grow together. I want to have a transparent and direct communication with suppliers. Build that trust so if problems come up, which they eventually will, then I want both parties to feel comfortable being frank & forthcoming about the issue and discuss alternative solutions
