“In my nine years in non-profit, I have met several dedicated professionals, but few have demonstrated the passion and commitment to Canada's youth more than my counterpart at the United Way, Fabio Crespin. I met Fabio in 2018 when we started our work together to bring web development training to young women facing social and economic barriers. Beyond financial support IDRF has received from the United Way, Fabio creates new opportunities to learn the strategies to ensure that in addition to investing in training, that our program's graduates secure good jobs in their field. He is also an easy person to get along with and always has a positive outlook, even during the most challenging times. Together we have developed donor relations strategies and he always makes his network accessible to us to ensure we reach as many communities as possible.
