Worked with Indigenous youth to promote physical activity in a culturally and socially relevant context. Consulted Red Fox Society on sustainable ways to challenge and engage youth to prioritize their physical and mental health.

Assisted in the final stages of data analysis for a graduate student in UBC’s Sensorimotor Physiology Lab. Gained knowledge and research experience analyzing the effect of prolonged exposure to impacts in varsity football.

Assisted in data collection for a post-doctoral fellow under Dr Michael Hunt in UBC’s Motion Analysis Biofeedback Lab, analyzing the effects of muscle fatigue on walking biomechanics.. Learned to do basic coding on MATLab and use advanced tools for biomechanical data collection.

Was the youngest of 10 high school students selected from all of British Columbia and the Yukon to receive a summer scholarship opportunity at the University of British Columbia.
