About
Award Nominated Professional dedicated to driving systemic change, I leverage over a decade of leadership in program and product development, digital strategy, and community empowerment to create meaningful, lasting impact. With a proven track record in conceptualizing and executing initiatives that address complex challenges, I’ve successfully led projects that range from enhancing student learning and combating racism, to digitizing outreach and fostering global engagement. Passionate about empowering youth and marginalized communities, I blend strategic insight with a deep commitment to equity.
As a founding staff member in Program (and later Product) at the Federation of Black Canadians (FBC), I directed the ideation, development, and launch of products from toolkits, events, webinars and roundtables ensuring alignment with the FBCFCN's strategic goals and driving significant business growth. I spearheaded collaborations with the Executive Director and cross-functional leadership teams in marketing, communications, and stakeholder relations to craft and execute a comprehensive product roadmap, integrating corporate partnerships and stakeholder engagement initiatives for maximum impact.
I also oversaw 6 to 7 figure budgets, liaising with finance and operations to align with objectives and KPIs, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI. I champion a high-performing product, stakeholder and program team, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and leadership to ensure timely and quality delivery of product solutions.
I am a Co-Founder, Operations Manager/Director and Steering Committee Member of BC Community Alliance (BCCA), a nonprofit dedicated to tackling structural inequity whilst empowering Black youth in BC. With a team of five paid staff and 15 volunteers we work to direct the strategic development and implementation of several key products, such as the BC School Racism Tracker, the Supports for Student Learning Program, and the Black Youth Empowerment Toolkit, integrating digital tools and technology platforms to enhance product strategy, development, and growth.
I’m Founder of Tropicraze, an organization dedicated to supporting newcomers with resettlement, community and empowerment.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Management with International Business from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Product Management Certificate from BrainStation. I am adept at product, operations and strategy. I have been recognized with multiple awards and honors for my contributions to the local and global community.
