This helps in minimizing the need for constant oversight and allows for smoother operations. 3) Focus on Optimization: Spend most of your time finding ways to optimize and grow the business. Look for roadblocks and work on solving problems collaboratively. 4) Maintain a Forward-Looking Mindset: Stay focused on the future and what you can control. Avoid dwelling too much on the past, except to learn lessons that can be used moving forward. 5) Stay Positive: Develop practices or habits that keep you energized and in a good mental state. It's easy to talk the talk, but difficult to walk the talk. I wonder whether Post Card Hotels would be open for a Public Audit on employee satisfaction, compensation and HR practices. I know a few organisations that walk the talk and not talk at all about their good work. And I trust Post Card too is among them. But unless there is a Public Audit and total transparency, the public won't be able to discern. There is a general disquiet in the Hospitality and Tourism industry, post COVID. #employeesatisfaction

Canada’s hotel industry recorded its highest performance levels in eight months, according to CoStar Group’s May 2024 data, which found that occupancy reached 69.0%, a 0.2% increase since last year. With territories like British Columbia and Vancouver reporting some of the country's highest occupancy levels, hoteliers are optimistic as the busy summer travel season approaches.
