Founded in 1982, Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation raises money to fund research, building upgrades, and equipment purchases at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. It is estimated that almost 50% of Canadians will develop cancer in their lifetime and 25% will die from the illness. The centre aims to “conquer cancer in our lifetime”.

FSRA is committed to ensuring that consumer input and perspectives inform our regulatory direction and decisions. The Consumer Advisory Panel will play an important role in fulfilling this commitment and delivering on FSRA’s mandate to protect the public interest in financial services in Ontario. The Panel will also serve as an advisory body to FSRA (through the newly created Consumer Office).

The Accounting Standards Board is an independent body with the authority to develop and establish accounting standards for use by all Canadian entities outside the public sector.

The Ontario Judicial Council was established by the Courts of Justice Act, R.S.O. 1990, Ch. C.43 to investigate complaints made by the members of the public about conduct of provincially-appointed judges. In addition, it approves the continuing education plan for provincial judges.

The Toronto Police Widows and Orphans Fund is the first to respond at a member's time of need. The Fund was created in 1952 by Toronto Police Members to help meet the needs of member's loved ones when they need it most.
