Last week, YMCAs across Canada set sail for Halifax for our YMCA National Conference! Taking place once every 8 years, 400 staff and volunteers gathered to forge connections and chart a course toward a bright and bold future for our Federation. Our theme for the conference was Beacon/Phare, based on the idea that together, we can create a guiding light to illuminate a way for the YMCA to navigate the waters ahead. Our sincerest thanks to the YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth for hosting, and to delegates for your insights, energy, and contribution to our collective goal to “yearn for the vast and endless sea.”
