Arizona Grand Resort & Spa is a hotel with #RevPAR to be envied. One of the reasons, as you can see, is that it offers the perfect setting for guests to cool off in the Phoenix heat. The property is one example amongst hotels in North America that have installed WhiteWater equipment, which, as a group, had RevPAR levels 29.1% to 111.3% higher in 2023 compared to the overall average of all resorts and hotels in the United States. This is an increase from our previous study findings of 20.4% to 78.1% higher in 2019, indicating further growth in this group. The before and after pictures speak for themselves! Opened in 2007, the East Coast Waterworks FusionFortress 15 at Hersheypark recently got an enhancement in the form of Life Floor. These foam rubber tiles not only improve safety by reducing slips and falls, they also reduce water evaporation and keep the guests’ feet cooler and more comfortable. It’s not just big, it’s MEGA! Last week, Nagashima Spa Land in Japan opened the biggest slide feature in the world—the Mega Abyss funnel slide, with guests rushing to line up to try. At 25 meters in width and 30 meter in height, it is 25% larger than the next biggest Abyss. Screams and laughter are guaranteed as guests in 6-person rafts are first mesmerized by colourful AquaLucent rings, then are sent plunging into the Abyss at a 46-degree angle before oscillating back and forth high on the walls for one zero G sensation after another. You may be surprised to learn that your liability as a #waterpark operator could be affected through water slide resurfacing. That’s because the performance parameters of the slide could change as a result of this work. You would need to have the slide tested and re-commissioned. Who doesn’t like saying “ZoomaFlooma?” This is THE log flume ride that will be plummeting—and splashing—right underneath the future world’s tallest, longest, and fastest roller coaster, “Falcon’s Flight” at Six Flags Qiddiya City in Saudi Arabia.   While the coaster might seem intimidating to some, ZoomaFlooma will offer thrills to everyone.
