Could a tool designed to revolutionize the administrative side of healthcare be built without input from doctors? Perhaps, but why not ensure that the tool is perfectly aligned with the needs of physicians? Quip Medical is a platform created with doctors for doctors. The #healthcare industry has seen a rise in administrative burdens, creating challenges for physicians and patient care. Time-consuming tasks like note taking and insurance billing contribute to physician burnout - an industry wide issue Quip Medical CTO and Founder, Brian Li believed deserves attention. "Quip Medical was born from first-hand experience. We saw opportunities to improve the flow of a workday and provide the support needed to create a lasting impact on patient care and doctors' mental health. Administrative tasks often spill into physicians' personal time, extending their hours away from family and friends. Recognizing these pain points, we've developed solutions to support physicians, enhancing both patient care and their well-being. With guidance from Velocity advisors, we gained insights into the scribing market and similar technologies, helping us create a differentiated product offering. We're excited to serve and improve the healthcare industry." - Li Fortunately, Quip Medical has been carefully designed to fit seamlessly into a physician's life, alleviating administrative burdens and allowing doctors to focus on their patients’ immediate needs while also taking care of themselves. Quip Medical automates physician workflows with features such as AI-generated consult summaries and OHIP billing code suggestions, revolutionizing healthcare efficiency. Here are some quick stats: - 70% less time spent drafting and closing each patient note - 20 times more cost-effective than a medical scribe or transcription service We are proud to support our clients in making a change!
