Trexo Robotics came to be as a result of a caring uncle and a nephew with a CP diagnosis that meant he would never walk. 🦿Manmeet and Rahul, Trexo co-founders, built the Trexo for Manmeet’s nephew Praneit, to give him the opportunity to walk and experience the health benefits associated with walking. Today, Praneit still uses his Trexo - including in school which allows him to play a more interactive role in his school experience. 💗 Today, Trexo has a community of children that have collectively taken almost 100M steps! 🎊 99,903,882 steps to be precise! We are so excited to celebrate their effort, determination and all the moments they have experienced. 👏 Every step takes effort. Every single step brings growth. Every step is significant. Just wrapped up an incredible time at AACPDM 2024 in Quebec! 🌍✨ This is the world’s largest congress on Cerebral Palsy (CP), bringing together experts from across the globe. 🌏👩⚕️👨⚕️ It was inspiring to learn about cutting-edge research 🧬, new care pathways 🛤️, and the evolving management of this complex condition. 💡💪 We discussed the importance of disability care 🏥, community support groups 🤝, and giving equitable opportunities to children and adults with CP 🌈⚖️. Sadly, many still face discrimination 🚫, and we need to change that! Empowering these individuals with mobility aids 🦽, orthotics 👣, and technology 🚀 plays a key role in transforming their lives.
