We recognize that we live, work, and play on the unceded traditional territory of the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation. Join Lheidli T'enneh First Nation in the Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park today, September 30, from 2 pm - 4 pm for a healing ceremony, storytelling, singing, and drumming. A monument dedicated to the Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two Spirited People now stands on the intersection of Highway 16 and Ferry Avenue as part of the Red Dress Campaign. How can we keep bears wild, minimize human-bear contact and give back to our partners? By participating in the Fall Fruit Fest! 🍂 🍎 From Sept. 6-8 Recycling and Environmental Action Society (REAPS) Prince George is encouraging our community to remove 50,000 lbs of ripe fruit to ensure bears pass safely through without reasons to stay as they prepare for the winter. Fruits can then be donated to places like: Northern Lights Estate Winery, Cold Front Cidery, Northern Lights Wildlife Society and Slaughterhouse Craft. A win-win in our books! Last week our team gathered at CrossRoads Brewing & Distillery Ltd to celebrate an amazing tourism season, while also saying a few goodbyes: Visitor counsellors, Rogina Kazemian and Sandeep Singh are heading back to post-secondary to continue their studies.
