About us

We are a community of racialized people pursuing entrepreneurship and innovation in Canada. We support our members access relevant resources, opportunities and networks to thrive. What if more racialized people worldwide had the knowledge, resources, and tools to succeed as entrepreneurs and innovators? What if racialized people had access to a global network of resources, opportunities and networks that could support them and turn their ideas into reality? What if racialized people were at the forefront of entrepreneurship and innovation globally? And what if these supports were shared by us, for us? We believe our potential to succeed is infinite when we nurture the power of community. We have the ability to do anything, be anywhere, and we know what it takes to raise a successful entrepreneur and innovator. It takes a village to raise an entrepreneur. Tribe Network is the village.

Last week, Nancy Naadei Kotei-Sass who was a previous Black Start-Up Project pitch participant presented her business Kacy’s Delight in the 2024 Summer Entrepreneurial Experience Bootcamp and emerged victorious out of 21 talented international students. This Bootcamp is a component of the EduNova Co-operative Ltd. Ltd Entrepreneurship Program, in partnership with the Arthur L. Irving Entrepreneurship Centre and TD Entrepreneurship Inclusion Initiative. In a post she shared after her win, Nancy gave a very nice shoutout to Tribe. Turns out the feedback and mentorship she received from a recent pitch competition of ours helped her learn, adjust, and effectively - perfect her pitch! This is the perfect demonstration of why you always keep going. Congratulations Nancy!! We’re grateful to be a part of her entrepreneurial journey.
