    Since 1972 RAYCHEM has been quietly going about its business. Mile after mile of our heating cables have been installed under floors on pipelines within buildings. Largely unnoticed. Until now. After all these years, it’s time to get noticed.  This year, nVent RAYCHEM is celebrating 50 years of self-regulating heating technology. In 1972 Raychem Corporation (now a part of nVent) patented and produced the first commercially successful electric self-regulating heat tracing cable. Since then, the company has sold and installed over 1.8 billion feet/550,000 km of heating cable in over 100 countries and continues to launch innovative products that have expanded the application of heat tracing technology.     nVent Thermal SEA team led by Gilbet Boon, (FMVA)® DCP® DCS® CDMP, DMI PRO, Regional Business Leader and Ben Lim, Area Sales Manager supported our Thailand Channel Partner, PIE Solutions Co., Ltd on a 2-Days Oil & Gas Road Show Exhibition & Seminar on 11 and 12 July 2024 respectively. The event was held in Rayong, Thailand's largest Oil & Gas and Petrochemical hub. Gilbet presented a talk on The Importance of Life Cycle Services for Electrical Heat Tracing Installations on Day 2 of the event where he shared with the audience the criticality of LCS to assure high reliability of EHT in process facilities as well as some successful project references.
