Last week in Toronto, we celebrated the premiere of a very special project with Uber Canada 🙌 Together, we produced a short film about The Forum Mentor Program alumna Nathaly A Nairn and her business, Windfall Cider, featuring rideshare driver Yasmin Siso 🎥 We brought together a community of self-identifying women, non-binary & trans-femme rideshare drivers and entrepreneurs to premiere the film and celebrate together, and listened to Hannah Schwartz chat with Nathaly A Nairn about her entrepreneurial journey and Uber’s role in her business operations 🚗 It was so great to gather as a community and discuss how we drive entrepreneurs forward! Thank you Uber Canada for partnering with us on this amazing initiative! ✨ Stay tuned for when we reveal the short film in the coming weeks 👀

Hot take: Failure is the key to success 🗝️ One of the biggest challenges entrepreneurs can face in their journey is the fear of failure. It's natural to feel hesitant or uncertain when stepping into uncharted territory. But here's the secret: failure is not the end; it's a crucial part of the learning process! Every setback is an opportunity to learn, adapt, and grow stronger. By reshaping failure as a stepping stone rather than an obstacle, we empower ourselves to take calculated risks, innovate, and ultimately achieve greater success. 🙌 To all the self-identifying women, non-binary, and trans-femme entrepreneurs in our community: embrace the unknown, face failure head-on, and remember that every experience, whether smooth or challenging, shapes your journey toward success. What’s one failure you’ve encountered as an entrepreneur that turned out to be an opportunity for learning? 💭 Let us know in the comments below! #Entrepreneurship #WomenInBusiness #FearOfFailure

As a self-identifying woman, non-binary, or trans-femme entrepreneur, it's almost impossible to escape the impacts of imposter syndrome. From a young age, we're conditioned to believe the heights of success are unattainable for us, and that there are barriers we have to accept. 👉 This is your friendly reminder that this narrative does not define you 👈 It's a difficult mindset to adopt, but there’s something powerful in fiercely believing in the projects and passions we want to bring to life. These feelings don’t determine your capabilities or the value you bring to the table. The journey of entrepreneurship is filled with challenges, and it’s only natural to feel a sense of inadequacy at times. That said, every step you take, every decision you make, and every milestone you achieve is a testament to your strength, resilience, and brilliance as a founder. Signs of failure may appear as a red flag in your eyes, but reframing them as milestones of growth can help you redefine your personal definition of success. At the end of the day, the only one who can determine your limitations is you! Sometimes, it’s better to lead with audacity and allow yourself to believe your hard work and determination are not in vain. Remember, there’s no one in your industry exactly like you. The world needs your expertise, vision and passion. There’s no need to question or second guess the good things coming your way. You’re exactly where you’re meant to be. 🫶
