Is your teamwork working for you? According to a recent Dale Carnegie study, only 30% of teams exceeded their annual goals and were considered "high-performing." If you rely on traditional team-building activities, you might focus on temporary fun rather than developing meaningful connections in your team and business.   There's a better way than holding your annual traditional team-building exercise, and it's known as the CLICK framework. The CLICK framework goes beyond just tools and techniques; it addresses the underlying mindsets, behaviours, and relational dynamics essential for team excellence. Here are the five pillars of the CLICK framework: 👉 Clarity of goals – As a team, you must agree on your shared team goal and purpose, ensuring everyone is aligned on the "why" behind the work. 👉 Linking relationships – You need to ensure everyone understands the expectations of the team's key stakeholders and that time is allocated for building social connections within the team. 👉 Integrated ways of working – Integrating and agreeing on team norms and work processes that support collaboration and create a structure that enables teamwork is a must. 👉 Collaborative decision-making – Ensure everyone agrees on the frameworks for decision-making and sticks to the same framework. 👉 Knowledge sharing and feedback – Encourage everyone in the team, including management, to share their knowledge and continually seek feedback. You can also reflect on successes and challenges together. Is it time you upped your team-building game and implemented a more robust, strategic framework that makes your team work like a dream? If you want to discover more about the CLICK framework, read the full article now:https://lnkd.in/g_rCJyAk #BusinessSuccess #Collaboration #Teamwork #TeamBuilding

Strategic partnerships help businesses grow, enabling them to expand into new markets or venture into new product lines.   However, strategic partnerships are not without risks. Studies suggest that between 30 and 70% of partnerships are unsuccessful for one or both companies.   To ensure a greater possibility of success, you need to implement in-depth planning before forming the partnership. Here are a few tips to help get you started:    👉 Tip 1: Choose a business that complements your company. Your partner should fill your knowledge and expertise gaps, and vice versa. When choosing a partner, you must also ensure they are familiar with your offerings and customer base and share your business's core areas of success.    👉 Tip 2: Offering your partner something they deem valuable is crucial. You need to sell the benefits of the partnership and clearly outline what the other business will get out of it and how you will help each other grow.    👉 Tip 3: Thoroughly investigate and research the business to ensure the fit is right. You need to make sure your business philosophies and strategies align.   Did you find these tips helpful? Did you know that forging a community of shared interests ensures business projects align more with your values and can lead to better collaboration opportunities?   However, you must ensure you nurture the community for the optimum results of successful business growth.    The first step in forging this community of business leaders starts by identifying the purpose of your business and the values you hold. Then, you can begin building a community with a shared purpose by:   👉 Change your mindset to think long-term – Focus on the community, as this leads to more authentic connections, which in turn results in building long-term business growth.   👉 Contribute to the community – If you want to build a community of purpose-driven business leaders, you must contribute and provide value. You can’t expect to take, take, take. Remember, meaningful connections are made by giving a helping hand, passing along business opportunities, and offering collaboration opportunities.   👉 Champion others – Building a thriving community with shared values works best when you remove yourself from the equation and champion the people in your community. Make sure you also give referrals and forge meaningful connections.   Find out more about how to build a community of shared values and discover long-term business success through purpose-shared, meaningful connections: https://lnkd.in/g3t6-ZBB    #BusinessGrowth #BusinessSuccess #InvestingInPartnership #Collaboration

What makes an invaluable collaborator? Is it their ability to effectively communicate or their transparency and honesty? Well, it’s both of those things, but it also involves your ability to self-advocate. This is often an overlooked oversight regarding collaboration skills, but if you want to become an invaluable collaborator, you must improve your self-advocacy.  Self-advocacy is where you speak up for your own interests or needs. By being a self-advocate, you are better equipped to handle situations that might otherwise become unfavourable (or completely unfair). Effective collaboration requires these foundational principles: effective communication, transparency, and mutual agreement on goals and responsibilities. Self-advocacy can help with all three of these areas 👇. 👉 When you self-advocate, you effectively communicate what you hope to accomplish through your partnership. It enables you to share what skills and knowledge you can bring to the partnership and be open about the skills you lack. 👉 This level of communication and transparency makes it much easier for partnerships to succeed in the long run because everyone clearly understands what is expected and wants.   👉 The better you are at self-advocating, the better everyone around you will become at it, too. Influencing your colleagues and stakeholders to embrace self-advocacy will also ensure they become more self-aware, leading to everyone developing their problem-solving skills and resolving challenges. Discover why self-advocacy is an essential trait in effective collaboration: https://lnkd.in/e9BJNMgs #Collaboration #Partnerships #Teamwork #TeamDevelopment

🔑Collaboration is key when it comes to uncertain times.    Following the COVID-19 crisis and the economic uncertainty, few executives are confident in capturing new growth opportunities, which can lead business leaders to become risk-averse, protect their own interests, and prioritize stability over innovation.   However, it’s during challenging times that you need to use innovation and collaboration if you want to thrive. The first step is breaking down any collaboration barriers within your team by asking quality coaching questions that:    ➡️ Foster a sense of shared purpose ➡️ Create conditions conducive to collaboration ➡️ Help your team overcome their fears and work together.   Read this article to understand why collaboration is key in uncertain times and what questions you can ask your team to break down their barriers: https://lnkd.in/dqqEq_ZT   #Collaboration #Teamwork #TeamBuilding #BusinessGrowth
