Building self-awareness is the key to unlocking personal growth and fulfilment. Here are some powerful practices to embark on this transformative journey: 1️⃣ Setting Boundaries: Define your limits and honour them. Boundaries are your self-respect in action. 2️⃣ Knowing Your Strengths and Limits: Celebrate your strengths and embrace your limitations. They're both part of what makes you beautifully human. 3️⃣ Staying Open-Minded: Embrace curiosity and welcome new perspectives. Stay open to learning, evolving and expanding your understanding of yourself and the world. 4️⃣ Identifying Emotional Triggers: Pay attention to what sets off your emotions. Understanding your triggers empowers you to respond rather than react. Self-awareness is a journey, not a destination. Be patient with yourself, be kind to yourself and trust in your capacity to grow. If you need help starting your journey, we're here for you: https://bit.ly/2UgYWhx

Parenting a child with strong emotions can be challenging, but remember, your words hold incredible power. Instead of dismissing their feelings, acknowledge them with empathy. Say things like “I understand you're feeling upset,” or “It's okay to feel angry.” By validating their emotions, you're helping them learn to manage and express themselves better. Choose your words wisely; they can build trust, strengthen your bond and empower your child to navigate their emotions with confidence. As temperatures soar, it's important to remember that some of us on SSRIs might feel the heat a little differently! SSRIs can affect how our bodies regulate temperature, making us more sensitive to hot weather. Remember to stay hydrated, seek shade and take breaks indoors when needed. Your well-being matters, so listen to your body's signals and take care of yourself this summer! ☀️

Do you have a friend going through a hard time and you’re unsure how to approach them? Here's how: 💙 Listen: Sometimes, just being a listening ear can make all the difference. 💙 Offer empathy: Let your friend know they're not alone; your understanding can bring comfort. 💙 Check in regularly: Reach out often, even if they don't ask; your support matters. 💙 Guide them to help: If needed, gently suggest seeking professional support, and assure them it’s okay to ask for help. Together, we can be the support system our friends need to navigate through tough times: https://bit.ly/36s90GL
