Dr. Guilherme J. Agnoletto from AdventHealth Tampa recently used Synaptive’s ICG fluorescence for a spinal cord fistula: “Colored ICG angiography provides enhanced visualization of vascular flow dynamics during surgery, while still allowing for clear visualization of normal surrounding anatomy. This is invaluable to confirm the success of the proposed operation while minimizing the risk of inadvertent injury to adjacent structures.” Learn more about #ModusX fluorescence visualization here: https://lnkd.in/gwBrrAn7 #SynaptiveMedical #RoboticExoscope #SpineSurgery

As one of the original users of Synaptive’s technology, Dr. Richard Rovin has experienced the evolution of our products with almost a decade of application in his neurosurgery practice. We can’t wait to see how Modus X along with Modus Plan and Nav continue to support highly effective brain tumor care at Aurora St. Lukes. #SynaptiveMedical #RoboticExoscope #ModusX #Neurosurgery
“Ok ViMo. Let there be blue light!“ We upgraded to Synaptive Medical Modus X. Voice commands. Stunning 3D. And 5-ALA tumor fluorescence guided surgery capability. I do believe this technology will improve our ability to deliver highly effective brain tumor care.

"Performing cleft palate surgery puts significant strain on your cervical spine, exacerbated by the weight of surgical loupes and/or a headlight. Since integrating Modus X into my practice, I can perform these surgeries without neck strain or pain." Hackensack Meridian Health continues to make a significant impact in the New Jersey community. As the first hospital in the United States to combine two innovative technologies - ZAP-X® Gyroscopic Radiosurgery and Synaptive's Neuro-dedicated MRI - they were able to provide an active 79-year-old patient a pain free, nonconfining solution to a traditionally surgical neuro procedure. Another incredibly successful CNS annual meeting! A big thank you to, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) for hosting such an engaging meeting, to everyone that joined us in the Malignant Brain Tumors course, and to those who stopped by our booth for hands on demos with our integrated suite of technology. We look forward to continuing our discussions from the show and supporting more neurosurgeons in their exploration of revolutionary technology. See you all next year in Los Angeles! #SynaptiveMedical #CNS2024 #Neurosurgery #Neurosurgeons

New case report on the advantages of Modus Plan's tractography for cranial nerve preservation in surgery. Dr. Glasser and the team at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System leveraged tractography in Modus Plan to facilitate anatomical visualization of an acoustic neuroma in the cerebellopontine angle, identifying entry and exit points of cranial nerves VII and VIII. Through integration with Stryker's Q guidance navigation system, the surgical team accurately verified the cranial nerve locations, preserving the facial and cochlear nerves during surgery. Read the full report below on how these technologies contributed to this patient's positive outcome. #SynaptiveMedical #Tractography #ModusPlan #Navigation #StrykerQGuidance #Neurosurgery

Thank you Dr. Antonio J. Webb, MD for sharing your experience using #ModusX for your ACDF procedures! #SynaptiveMedical #RoboticExoscope
An exoscope is a high-definition, digital video camera mounted on a stand or robotic arm that allows surgeons to perform complex procedures with enhanced visualization. Unlike traditional surgical microscopes, which require the surgeon to look directly through oculars, the exoscope projects magnified, 3D images onto a screen, providing improved ergonomics and flexibility during spine surgeries. The best part is that everyone in the room gets to wear 3D glasses and watch the surgery in 3D😎 Procedure: C6-C7 ACDF (Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion) Watch an ACDF procedure here: https://lnkd.in/gfE8nwmG
