In the day following the big USA election, we wanted to highlight one of our current projects in the USA at the JFK International Air Terminal, where Surespan Bridge Rental, Surespan Structures and Surespan Group have teamed up with Buckman Engineering Inc to fabricate and deliver for rental, 25 steel deck portable bridges for temporary use during the Skanska JFK JV redevelopment project. Each bridge module is 40' to 50' and coated with an epoxy with embedded pea gravel to provide surface adhesion for traffic. Surespan Group also supplied 16 steel pipe towers to support the bridge modules as part of the substructure. #USA #bridge #airport #infrastructure #rental #JFK

Congratulations to Klohn Crippen Berger on the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies BC (ACEC-BC) #acecbcAwards of Excellence for the Galloping Goose Regional Trail Bridge Improvements project! Surespan Group was proud to be a part of the project acting as the General Contractor for the Charter Creek Trestle Rehabilitation. Our crews enjoyed the challenge of rehabilitating the bridge deck and sub-deck ties on the structure that was originally built in 1918. Congratulations to Stantec for their #acecbcAwards nomination in the transportation and bridges category for the Quartz Creek Bridge Replacement Project. Surespan Group was contracted by Rapid Span for the assembly, launching and related construction engineering for the 184m four lane - 7 girder bridge.
