September is World Alzheimer’s Month, a condition affecting over 50 million people around the world. Throughout September, we will be shining a light and sharing articles in support of addressing stigma and enhancing the understanding of Alzheimer’s and dementia. To kick off this month of awareness, we’re proud to highlight an initiative made possible by the generosity of our employees through the Spectrum Health Care Foundation. Earlier this year, we funded the purchase of two Lucynt Dementia Magic Table Projectors for Wellbrook Place’s Behavioral Support Units, which provides care for adults with dementia and mental health disorders. These projectors offer over 160 interactive games, transforming any surface into an engaging, stimulating environment that fosters cognitive engagement, social interaction, and overall well-being.
