💡 Did you know that #Pittsburgh went to #verifiedresponse to alarms this year? 🤔 What does this mean? Verified Response Policies are put into place with Law Enforcement Agencies, cities, and municipalities where a large percentage of alarm calls are falls. This presents a huge drain on resources and delays to higher priority calls but also breaks down the communication process when it matters most to you. How are you protecting your home and business when the Police aren't coming? Check out the article in the comments to learn more! #homesecurity #alarmresponse #security #smarthome #smallbusiness

While we missed our friends at National Retail Federation last week in Long Beach, we stayed busy on some pretty important work. Craig Campbell and the RSPNDR team spoke on the importance of policy review and change in Law Enforcement to improve response to emergency calls. We joined hundreds of members of the #OAPSB to show how solutions like our software delivers on-duty response officers on scene in #MINUTES to non-priority calls contributing to a full spectrum private and public effort. #OAPSB #PublicPrivatePartnerships #Innovation #security #response Cliff Feltham | David Holland | Mark Zimmerman | Mark Wires | Craig Campbell | Andrew Dunn

💡 Interesting article on the update to Colorado Springs 🏔 While the rest of the country's large metro #lawenforcement agencies are struggling with #response times, now smaller cities are falling victim. #ColoradoSprings, where RSPNDR knows well, just recently saw a 3-minute jump to #Priority1 calls with Law Enforcement leaving lower priority calls in a dismal state.

We have seen a bunch of actions and reactions in the security industry over the last few years. And I think things are coming to a head soon: - Security officers were incredibly hard to staff so wages increased by as much as 25% - Once the officer wages increased customers started looking at more technology solutions - With more technology solutions deployed the role of the Remote Security Officer exploded - Now, with more remote monitoring than ever the number of calls to Police are increasing (from both the residential and commercial sectors) - With the increase in calls (and the decrease in Police headcount) many departments are starting to change the types of calls they will respond to So, what is the next step in this rapid evolution? Privatized police hired by community groups to share costs? Expansion of programs like RSPNDR to drive security mobile patrol and dispatch through private security? What about guard and police wages? Where are we going next? #security #securityofficer #police #remoteguarding #remotemonitoring #alarmmonitoring #securitytechnology #securitycameras
