Jimmy Baxley recently had the opportunity to have breakfast with several Senior Engineers and Petroleum Engineer interns working for the summer. During our time together, we conducted a pump teardown to demonstrate how the Q2 Artificial Lift Services (Q2 ALS) innovative HVS functions when pumping in the curve. We also examined regular and slim line tubing anchors, Whale Shark gas separators, Q2-Flow 1-piece insert guided cages, and other Q2 ALS technologies designed to optimize artificial lift applications in the Hobbs/Permian Basin area.

We had the privilege of having several of our customers out to a Saskatchewan Roughrider game last week. Billy Nevels, Chris Archunde and Brandon Van Huss had a very successful lunch and learn right before the holiday last week on July 3rd. Last week some of our sales team and clients attended the Ponoka Stampede and got rained out, I mean it poured so much that day they actually cancelled the main events as to avoid human/animal injury. This week however, the Calgary Stampede is facing the complete opposite weather, we are in a heat-wave for Alberta. There were 201,260 people who made their way to the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth on Sunday, marking one of the biggest single-day attendance figures in Calgary Stampede history. They are predicting due to the great weather they may beat last years record of over 1.38 million in attendance over 10 days, we will keep you posted. Gerard Walsh took in the afternoon rodeo with a couple customers and the arena is bone dry and a great show put on by the cowgirls/cowboys today.
