  • Did you know that blue spaces (environments with water) tap into our senses? That's right, whether it's the calming effect of looking out at water in a pool, breathing in the fresh air while spending time at a local watering hole, or hearing ocean waves crash against a shore, blue spaces often use more than one sense to help us improve our mood, mindfulness, and creativity. Check out a blue space if you are having bad breathing day, and see if you can tap into some of these positive effects. Here are some pics of blue spaces visited this summer both near and far (Gulf Islands, BC and Oahu, Hawaii!) Here are a couple of pictures from blue spaces I've visited this summer. The tide is WAY out at Rathtrevor Beach in Parksville, BC. Great for exploring tide pools though!
