BREAKING! Our Second Quarter Financials are Live! Major highlights include: 🦋 Grew 3rd party processing volumes at Caroline, up 40% from Q1 2024 🦋 Continued to reduce field and facility operating cost structure 🦋 Produced 30,861 boe/d (85% natural gas) “Pieridae’s robust commodity hedge portfolio resulted in $19.8 million of gains, offsetting the significant challenge created by extremely low AECO natural gas prices during the second quarter. Management has also shut-in approximately 25% of the Company’s production to protect cash flow and preserve reserve value for our shareholders, until we see gas prices recover in a meaningful way.” – Darcy Reding, CEO The full release is on our website, link in comments! #PieridaeEnergy #Q2 #Financials #AlbertaEnergy

Happy Heritage Day long weekend to all the Albertan’s out there. Together, we celebrate and recognize how different cultures came together to create our story. Speaking of heritage … in 1952 Jumping Pound became the first sulphur plant in the world to remove H2S from a gas stream and convert it to commercially useable sulphur! #PieridaeEnergy #AlbertaEnergy

Calgary office 🤝 Waterton The ops team took a day trip to Waterton to chat with the plant and field crews. They toured the field while they soaked up the southern Alberta sun. Connecting with each other and developing an understanding of other people’s roles is a key part of operational success. Anytime there are people in the field, safety is the number one priority. “Kudos to Ryan and Lorne – they’re great at going through the safety protocols. I am continually impressed with their rigor and thoroughness when it comes to keeping the office team safe at the wellsites. It’s a fantastic crew out there!” – VP Development & Exploration #PieridaeEnergy #SouthernAB

Meet Anthony; the other half of the weed crew summer student team at Waterton. He is every weed’s worst nightmare. Three years on the job has built up a working knowledge of the prominent invasive species in the area and their Achilles heel. But there are still plants that provide a challenge - he dreads dealing with the notoriously prickly Bull Thistle. “You need good gloves” he says. “This is my first year as the team lead. I am really focused on improving my skills as a professional and a leader. To be as successful as possible, I keep a schedule for the regular maintenance of the different sites so that I always know what is going on. Reclamation sites, well sites, sites that landowners used to go to. It is so important to stay on top of it all.” Anthony is from Calgary but chooses to stay with his grandmother in the summers so he can be a part of the weed crew. He enjoys living and working in an area where he gets to experience majestic mountains and spectacular scenery. Some of his hobbies include reading, hiking, playing guitar and video games. Anthony is going into his third year of Political Science with a minor in Indigenous Studies at the The University of Lethbridge. Anthony, we wish you the best in your studies this fall! #PieridaeEnergy #SummerStudent
