It was a great conference this year. Thank you again to the Organizing Committee! We look forward to seeing everyone next year in Ottawa!
2024 Photonics North was a great success! This was the first time in the 30 years history of Photonics North that we held it in Western Canada. Close to 400 people from 19 countries took part in the conference and trade show events. Attendees had enjoyed 3 very informative and intriguing plenary talks by internationally renowned researchers. We also had a special tutorial session in honour of Prof. Paul Corkum. There were 9 technical topical tracks with 53 breakout sessions and a poster session. We also had a series of very interesting and inspirational industry and entrepreneurship events along with the exhibition. We were also very happy to run joint sessions and workshops with JCEP (NRC and UOttawa) as well as UBC and CMC. We thank our long term partners INO, COPL, Photons Canada/ CPIC, Optonique, IEEE Photonics Society, and Optica We are also very grateful for the 2024 conference supporters JCEP, University of Ottawa (NEXUS), The University of British Columbia, Photonics Spectra, and BDC
