On Sunday, September 15, Team PharmaChoice Canada kicked off a week of activities in support of The Terry Fox Foundation with walks and runs taking place in communities across Canada. Dressed in Terry Fox Run t-shirts, it was a fantastic way to commemorate Terry’s life and raise awareness and donations for cancer research. People from these communities took the opportunity to voice their support - in Saskatoon, a passing motorist stopped to ask the team what they were protesting. When they said, “Cancer!”, he replied, “Well, I’m protesting that, too!” and offered many loud horn honks of approval. It’s the little things 😊 Having the broader PharmaChoice Canada team out in so many communities all at once, supporting such an amazing cause, was such a rare and welcome experience. From the photos shared back and forth to all the stories of heartwarming interactions, we all came away with full hearts and many happy memories.
