Losing an animal is devastating at any age, but it can be especially difficult for children. Pets are often their best friends and share an intimate space in their lives. While everyone deals with grief differently, the one thing that brings comfort for many is sharing stories and memories of their beloved pet. When an animal comes into the care of the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society, we do everything we can to help them find their second chance 🏡🐾 When a seven month old cat, now known as Johnny, arrived at the Ontario SPCA Muskoka Animal Centre, it was clear he needed some serious TLC. He required a Femoral Head Ostectomy surgery due to damage in his femur and the part of the pelvis that attaches to the femur, which led to discomfort and mobility issues. The goal of this surgery is to restore pain-free mobility. Want to hear how Johnny found his stride after his leg surgery? Check out our blog to read more: https://lnkd.in/eADS4uh2
