TIAP's mission is to transform innovative health research into successful new Canadian ventures, so we were delighted to have our President and CEO Parimal Nathwani moderate a session at this week's #NanoMedicines Innovation Network #NMIN2024 Conference, introducing a cadre of early-stage companies that have emerged from NMIN-supported research — including two from TIAP member, University of Toronto.... NorthMiRs is focused on developing novel therapies for #sepsis, and Liberum Biotech is combining #machinelearning with cell-free biology to make enzyme and antibody discovery easier, faster and less expensive — both further testaments to Canada's leadership capacity in not only health research, but also commercial health innovation.
