✨Spotlight With: Haider Tirmizey, Physical Therapist Physical Therapist & Lead Clinician, Haider Tirmizey shares his inspiring journey over the last seven years in the healthcare space. Haider, born in Pakistan and raised in Scarborough, Canada has been enamoured by physical performance and rehabilitation for as long as he could remember. Haider’s path to physical therapy, as many clinicians in our space share, was one that included his own personal experience in sports and athletics. Many of Haider’s own injuries and physical limitations led him on a journey to better understanding human performance and serving those in his community to become better versions of themselves. We're excited to introduce our Myodetox Emerging Leaders Scholarship Program (MELSP) 2024 Scholars! 🎓 MELSP exists to grow and develop the leaders of the future in the healthcare industry, with an immediate focus on supporting students from the Black & Indigenous communities, and a long-term vision of supporting students from the wider BIPOC community across the globe 🌐 Our mission is to make our profession as diverse as the community we serve, and empower students in Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, and Massage Therapy programs across North America with the skills and mindsets to become wellness champions within their local communities. MELSP is a 6-month annual developmental program that started in 2020. In its fourth year, we’re incredibly proud to share that we’ve had 14 past scholars experience this program. To date, we’ve been fortunate to raise over $65,000 to provide financial support to our scholars. We want to thank all those who have contributed to the success of this program 🤝 A special thank you to our MELSP team and mentors at Myodetox, who have dedicated their time to support the development of our scholars. We appreciate you!
