This award recognizes exceptional interior lighting projects that balance the functional illumination of space with the artistic application of light to enhance the occupant’s experience. Congratulations to the team! BDP Quadrangle, a top architectural and interior design firm, created a visually stunning workspace that prioritizes occupant well-being in a 39,000 square foot office across 2 floors. BDP Quadrangle’s new office interior demonstrates how thoughtful design can transform work environments into vibrant spaces that inspire, promote well-being, and enhance productivity. Mulvey & Banani’s involvement in this project spans five of our divisions: Electrical, ICT, Security, Mulvey & Banani Audio Visual design and Mulvey & Banani Lighting design. The IES Illumination Awards program recognizes individuals for professionalism, ingenuity, and originality in lighting design based on the individual merit of each entry. Discover how we transformed Kempegowda International Airport’s Terminal 2 into a premier aviation hub. Situated in Bengaluru, India, Terminal 2 covers 4,305,564 sq ft and serves approximately 25 million passengers annually. Combined with Terminal 1, the total capacity reaches 65 million passengers per annum, solidifying its position as South India’s busiest airport, essential for both international travelers and cargo. The landmark terminal features expanded departure areas with 30 check-in counters, 6 emigration counters, and 11 security counters. Additionally, an enhanced baggage delivery system with dedicated island carousels was developed to improve efficiency.
