On Saturday, Mill Creek was represented by Ali-Raza Choudry, Michael Martin, and Javad Mohaddes at the Ontario Regional Truck Driving Competition. The event challenged them to a 50-question written test, a detailed pre-trip inspection and an obstacle-filled driving course. At the end of the day, Javad placed fourth, earning him a spot at the Ontario finals in September. Thank you to our talented team, and congratulations!

Today we celebrated the 25th anniversary of our friend and coworker JP. After spending many years as a skilled over-the-road driver he joined us at our Ayr terminal to manage our warehouse and cross-dock. He's a deeply valued contributor to our business and culture. There's never a project that he won't attempt, and he keeps us well-fed as our expert BBQ chef. Thank you, JP for everything you do to make every day better at Mill Creek!

Road enforcement agencies across North America joined forces this week during the annual Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance International Roadcheck. They were looking for controlled substances and alcohol in the cabs and properly functioning tractor protection valves and anti-bleed back systems. Four of our drivers and trucks received level 1 inspections during the safety blitz, and all passed successfully! Thanks to our professional drivers and thorough techs in our shop for their attention to detail and dedication to safety. Congratulations to Amardeep, Gurpreet, Barry and Javed for receiving top inspections!
