We loved celebrating #PrideMonth throughout the month of June at McCain, from lunch & learns to education nights. One particularly exciting highlight from this past month was the Pride Drive benefiting the Center on Halsted, an organization and community center dedicated to advancing community inclusion and supporting the health and well-being of the LGBTQIA people of Chicago. Thank you to everyone who participated in the Pride Drive and other Pride events at McCain this June. 🏳🌈 #WeAreMcCain #PrideMonth2024

🌱➡️ Our Farms of the Future are key to how we are supporting the transition to #RegenerativeAgriculture —here, we trial and test practices so that we can scale them across geographies & showcase best practices in sustainable farming to our grower partners. 🥔 Things were busy on the farm in May & June! Our teams were busy planting diverse crops to help prevent pests and disease, additionally providing an opportunity for nutrients in the soil to replenish. 🐄 In July, livestock will arrive on the Farm and get settled in for the summer! #RotationalGrazing ☀ Stay tuned as we continue to highlight a year in the life of a regenerative farm! By midsummer, the farm will be teeming with life. 💛 #WeAreMcCain #McCainFarmingFriday

💛 Another ‘Volunteer Month’ in the books—this time for our teams in #Australia and #NewZealand! 🍽️ ANZ McCainers volunteered over 110 hours with Foodbank Australia throughout the month of May to help pack over 22,000 meals for families in need. 🌏 We're proud to continue our work to foster thriving communities in the areas in which we operate. #McCainThrivingCommunities #WeAreMcCain

With our roots on the farm, we firmly believe that #RegenerativeAgriculture must play a vital role in shaping the future of food production. 🥔 Expanding on the work we are doing at our McCain Farms of the Future; we have partnered with farmers across North America to launch Innovation Hubs. As regional shared centres of research and advocacy, Innovation Hubs are taking learnings from the Farm of the Future Canada and conducting commercial-scale research trials to test what regenerative agriculture practices work best in different growing regions. Farmers across #NorthAmerica are looking for ways to tackle #ClimateChange and make their crops more resilient. This growing season, we’re excited to add four farms across three growing regions to our Innovation Hub network! 🔗 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gNJ7gvpD #WeAreMcCain

🤝 We are thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with the University of New Brunswick that will revolutionize #DigitalAgriculture, progress #RegenerativeFarming practices and minimize the impact of #ClimateChange on farmland. 🌱 Our investment in UNB’s McKenna Institute, alongside New Brunswick institutions ResearchNB and The Government of New Brunswick / Gouvernement du Nouveau-Brunswick’s Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture & Fisheries will create a digital simulation that emulates farming with #RegenerativeAgriculture practices, with the goal of increasing the uptake of more sustainable farming, globally. The digital model will act as a simulation for farmers, a “digital twin” of McCain’s Farm of the Future, showcasing the environmental and business impacts of regenerative agriculture. ➡ This investment aligns with our commitment to implement regenerative agriculture across 100% of our global potato acreage by 2030. 🔗 Learn more about the partnership: https://lnkd.in/ggBZihyZ #WeAreMcCain #UNB
