Currently, Manga Hotel Group owns and operates 30 hotels with over 5,300 rooms and an additional 1,250 rooms in the pipeline, primarily located in downtown Toronto. Its portfolio also includes 5 high-rise residential rental developments comprising over 2,000 units, 2,200 low-rise houses in the pipeline for the Greater Toronto Area, 16 food and beverage outlets, and 9 airport parking sites.     The Toor Family Foundation Receives ROM Donor of Merit Award Last month, the Toor Family Foundation was honoured as an award recipient at the annual Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) Celebration event. On June 5, 2024, the ROM hosted almost 400 guests to celebrate the dedicated supporters and volunteers whose generosity enables extraordinary exhibitions, curatorial research and year-round public programming for over one million visitors annually. In attendance was Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, the Hounourable Edith Dumont, who delivered inspiring remarks. The Toor Family Foundation was the recipient of the Donor of Merit Award which recognizes donors whose inspired generosity of $1 million or more has significantly advanced ROM’s mission. With their gift, the Toor Family Foundation has championed the development of a Global Sikh Art & Culture Gallery and Program at the ROM. The Toor Family Foundation, established by Sukhdev Toor, the founder, president and CEO of Manga Hotel Group, promotes philanthropic endeavours focused on health, wellness, art and culture. The organization has long supported local communities and vulnerable populations through capacity building and advocacy as well as cultural enrichment and exposure to global arts.     Manga Hotel Group Opens 2 New Hotels in Ontario Manga Hotels is pleased to announce the opening of the dual branded 256-room DoubleTree and Home2 Suites by Hilton in Kingston, Ontario following a multimillion-dollar renovation that included all guestrooms and corridors, two lobbies, Cannery Kitchen and Social restaurant and bar, extensive meeting rooms and pre-function spaces. Welcoming short- and long-term guests, traveling for business or leisure, the hotels cater to everyone. The 129-room DoubleTree provides business travelers with a full-service hotel near Kingston’s corporate neighborhood. The 127-room Home2 Suites offers all-suite accommodations with fully accessorized kitchens and modular furniture, providing guests the flexibility to customize their suite to their style and preference. “Our goal with the DoubleTree and Home2 Suites Kingston was to provide the city with an unique, updated and elevated offering for both business and leisure travellers whether they be extended or short-term stay guests.
