Pearson School Board (LBPSB) and Literacy Unlimited teamed up for an amazing Literacy event! 🎉 At the "All Nations Family Literacy Night," families enjoyed a fun-filled evening celebrating reading and diversity. From engaging activities to choosing books representing various cultures, it was a joyful event thanks to the efforts of Maple Grove staff and Literacy Unlimited. Our Executive Director, Julia Asselstine, had this to say: "Literacy comes in many forms, starting with reading, writing and numeracy. In this knowledge-based era, without strong literacy skills people fall through the cracks of life. A book that a child connects with can be the catalyst for lifelong learning. In the embrace of literacy, we also find bonds that knit a community together. Here’s to Maple Grove Elementary, where dreams take flight on the wings of literacy!"
