Monique Mckeown has joined LEGACY's team as a Regulatory Specialist, bringing a wealth of experience in environmental and regulatory matters. With a strong background in environmental assessments, permitting, stakeholder engagement, and Crown land management, she has successfully delivered efficient and compliant solutions for numerous projects in Canada's mining, renewables, transportation, and infrastructure sectors. Monique's MSc. in Earth Sciences from the University of Auckland and her previous role as a regulator for a New Zealand government agency provide her with a unique perspective and ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes. Her proven track record in anticipating regulatory challenges, developing effective mitigation strategies, and building strong stakeholder relationships make her an invaluable asset to any project. Welcome Monique!

LEGACY would like to welcome Brook Brown to the team! Brook recently graduated from McGill University in Montreal with a bachelor's in biology and has joined LEGACY as a Biologist. She has an educational background in ecology, evolution, and conservation is looking forward to developing her skills in the fields of environmental assessment and construction monitoring. Brook previously worked on a project involving fish morphology and rapid evolution, with goals to better understand environmental impacts on freshwater lake systems in North America. Brook grew up fishing, scuba diving, and enjoying the sunshine in Florida and is looking forward to exploring the West Coast! We’re excited to see the fresh perspective and enthusiasm she brings to our team!

LEGACY would like to welcome Adrian On to the team! Adrian is an Environmental Scientist with over seven years of experience in environmental consulting, conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, Stage 1 and 2 Preliminary Site Investigations, Detailed Site Investigations, soil relocation projects, landfill post-closure monitoring, receiving environment monitoring, and erosion and sediment control planning. He is proficient in working within the BC regulatory framework that is applicable to contaminated sites assessment and remediation and has worked on a variety of projects throughout the province, including small-scale private assessments and large-scale/long-term remediation projects. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling to new countries to enjoy local cuisines, watching live baseball games, and rummaging through yard sales.

Trevor has joined the team as an Environmental Assessment Manager and brings over ten years of experience in geochemistry and metallurgy in the mining industry. He holds a Professional Chemist designation with the Association of the Chemical Profession of British Columbia with an educational background in Chemistry and Restoration of Natural Systems. Trevor has provided project management support in managing multi-disciplinary project teams for many projects in the mining and transportation sectors. Trevor's environmental assessment and permitting experience includes managing and contributing to preparation of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, Environmental Assessments, amendment applications for Environmental Assessment Certificate, Mines Act, Environmental Management Act, and various other permits. #environmentalconsulting #team
