About us
INSINC was a streaming media company that operated between 1998 and 2009. The company made an indelible imprint in the Canadian media landscape and was acquired by NeuLion in late 2009. NeuLion would subsequently be acquired by Endeavor for $250M in 2018. Evolving out of dowco.com Internet, a regional ISP based in Vancouver, INSINC executed a number of streaming firsts in Canada and rose to prominence as one of the country's preeminent webcasters serving a wide range of major broadcast, sporting and entertainment organizations. INSINC is no longer an operating company. Many of the original team are still involved in the streaming business, while some moved into other technology-related ventures. Others became very successful in unrelated fields. Some are still with Endeavor, while the original CEO went on to form another streaming company, Yare Media, in 2016 with a few of the original team members. The INSINC.com website is dedicated to documenting and preserving many of the early triumphs in the history of Canadian streaming media.
