Celebrating our 25th anniversary has naturally led our team to reflect on some of our most meaningful milestones: our first year in business, office moves, client triumphs and our 20th-anniversary event in Kananaskis. In 2019, we celebrated our fiscal year-end and Christmas at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge (PKML). At the time, we’d been working with Pomeroy Lodging for two years as they renovated the space and joined the Marriott Autograph Collection. INCITE had developed a new brand and marketing strategy to position the property effectively post-renovation and re-introduce PKML to the market. Not only was it fulfilling (and a ton of fun) to see the visual branding come to life around the property, but we also got to immerse ourselves in the PKML brand experience. They added their signature flair to our team-bonding events like our ODR hockey game, set up some quality time for us in the Kananaskis Nordic Spa, served up mouth-watering dishes for dinner and delivered campfire smores to our private dining room. Now THAT is a brand experience we’ll never forget along with the equally memorable ugly sweater pub night. It was a gift to feel, taste and experience the PKML brand through the lens of such a special Incite celebration. Just wish they’d thrown the ugly sweater evidence in with the s’mores. 😄 This is memory 14/25. If you missed the others or any of Incite’s 25 lessons learned, you can find them all at https://lnkd.in/gDatXFJe. #Incite25years#SilverAnniversary#InciteMemories #Kananaskis

For 25 years, Incite has thrived by building strong relationships with key influencers. This strategy has been more effective than attempting to penetrate markets alone and is a cornerstone of our client advice. Why Centers of Influence? Centers of influence are essential connectors in specific industries. They help reach target audiences with greater credibility and impact. At INCITE, we believe in the power of influence over force. Trusted voices amplify our message and have been crucial to our success. We recommend this strategy to our clients for its proven benefits and are committed to continuously nurturing our connections! In article two of our series in partnership with The Regulator's Practice on Canadian Regulators and Amalgamation, we caught up with Inciter Jesse Meyer on the importance of early and frequent communications throughout the amalgamation process. And judging by the insights he shared, ‘important’ is an understatement. “If you don’t communicate and share information, in detail and through the right mediums and channels, people will be left to their own devices to fill in the blanks on what it all means,” he warns. Follow the link below for further insights, plus Jesse’s insider tips for successful post-amalgamation communications. https://buff.ly/4cMMkB8 #Regulation #Amalgamation #PublicInterest #RegulatoryBodies #BradleyChisholm #TheRegulatorsPractice #Incite

Just eight days until the historic amalgamation of 11 BC health profession regulators into two regulatory colleges is official! Inciters Darren Tonn, Jesse Meyer and Stephanie Sims worked with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC and the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC to deliver them both with comprehensive brand and engagement strategies, stunning new brand visuals, and a robust brand implementation plan. We're honoured to have collaborated with regulatory leaders and consultants to turn this monumental change into a reality. Watch the video below to discover the significant meaning behind the elements in the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC logo design.

The Indigenous Engagement Group who provided valuable feedback to us about the amalgamation project, encouraged the College to engage with an Indigenous artist from British Columbia in the development of the branding. Sulksun from the Musqueam Nation, a Knowledge Keeper for many health regulatory colleges and an artist, accepted the opportunity to collaborate on the brand. Our brand partners at INCITE, specifically designer Darren Tonn, sat down with Sulksun to go over the concepts for the College. Sulksun provided important feedback on both colour and imagery for the logo, including the central north star. Watch this video to hear him describe the important meaning behind the elements in the logo’s design.

At Incite, our story is shaped by our core values—relationships, impact, problem-solving, growth and integrity. These values are not just words but the driving force behind every decision, strategy, and action we take. INCITE first came to appreciate the importance of defined core values through Jim Collins' work on 'Good to Great.' Companies that take time to articulate and live by their core values outperform competing peers who don't. Over time, our values have helped to serve as a roadmap to building culture, hiring the right people and onboarding new Inciters. We take time at our bi-annual team retreats to revisit our core values and ensure they remain relevant and alive within our day-to-day culture. What are your core values? Do they still resonate? How can you breathe new life into them? More than ever, regulatory bodies are facing pressures to merge. Amalgamation is the solution of choice for governments hoping to encourage regulatory consistency and eliminate redundancies. This leaves regulators fearing the potential of a negative impact on their independence and quality of oversight. With that in mind, we’re sharing a series of articles on amalgamation in Canada's regulator landscape in partnership with The Regulator's Practice. And we’re kicking it off with insights from Bradley Chisholm, owner of The Regulator's Practice. Read the full article at https://lnkd.in/gJsgYDjc And for those who don't have time for the deep dive, we’ve asked Bradley to share five Quick Tips for Regulators on Navigating Amalgamation: 1️⃣ Build Relationships: Foster strong connections among leaders and boards for productive discussions 2️⃣ Acknowledge Fears: Address and validate concerns to alleviate anxieties 3️⃣ Define Non-Negotiables: Identify core priorities to focus on critical issues 4️⃣ Prioritize Discussions: Engage in meaningful conversations about what matters most 5️⃣ Connect to a Shared Purpose: Align decisions with the mission of protecting public interest Stay tuned for the next article; we're exploring how these crucial bodies can safeguard their missions through communications. Share this article with any colleagues and stakeholders committed to regulatory excellence. #Regulation #Amalgamation #PublicInterest #RegulatoryBodies #BradleyChisholm #TheRegulatorsPractice #Incite
