On Saturday October 19th ICON Talent Partners was able to host the 2nd Annual ICON Exploration Summit in collaboration with our corporate partner, KPMG Canada, which was a rousing success. There are too many individuals to thank in just one post so I will spread this out over the coming days. First and foremost I am thankful to Marilyn Raphael, MPH, MBA, COO and Co-Founder, of ICON Talent Partners for being a true co-pilot and co-lead regarding the ICON mission and mandate. Our team (Emily Morgan, Angelika Bell, Edna Nortey Jessica Owusu, Beverly L., Sush Roy, Zainab Bokhari, Gabrielle Barnett and Garth Gibbes) really showed up bright and early to assist with registration, coordination and moderating panels etc. A special shout out to my partners and friends at KPMG Canada (Aarti Mohinani and Honoka Chloe Miyata, CSM®) for ensuring that everything we needed for a successful event was in place such as name badges, food, photography (Kevin Watson), members of their team for keynotes (Paul Anthony Hamilton (He/Him) and Chimaobi Ezeibe) as well as panelists (Romane Baker, Ian Mmbando, Savannah C., Sanya Anwar, Alessia Giuliana, Claudia Wilson and many more) were in place along with a phenomenal support team. We were joined by some special keynotes which was highlighted by Commander Paul Smith, OMM, MSM, CD (Words of Wisdom and Leadership) and Lefika Baloyi (ICON Alum from the Class of 2019).
