Representing the ICN and its councils, these young leaders will attend the AWID Forum in Bangkok, where they’ll connect with activists and drive forward discussions on global gender justice. The ICN Youth Delegation program empowers youth to bring diverse Canadian perspectives to international spaces, fostering collaborative actions for equality and human rights. From January to April 2024, ACIC held our fifth annual PhotoVoices program, in collaboration with Local Youth Corner Cameroon. ACIC's PhotoVoices Program enabled twenty-three youth to share the narratives they want to tell through photos, and connects youth from Atlantic Canada and our partner organizations around the world in an experience of storytelling, skills building, providing them a space to explore social justice, while learning from experts in the field. Touching on themes from gender equality, to environmental justice and social advocacy, the participants in the PhotoVoices program united to share the lived realities in their communities.
