Gandeeva Therapeutics is proud to partner with PROGENITER, a collaboration between researchers at The University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, and global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in Canada to scale up Canadian pandemic preparedness, therapeutic discovery, and biomanufacturing capacity. Congratulations to the PROGENITER team!
Today, Randeep Sarai and Benoit-Antoine Bacon celebrated $140M in Canadian Science funding for projects that will advance the development of life-saving medicines as part of Canada’s Immuno-Engineering and Biomanufacturing Hub (CIEBH) led by UBC. The funding supports four multidisciplinary research projects through CIEBH, a UBC-led alliance of more than 50 academic, industry, not-for-profit and health system partners that have come together to make Canada a leader in advanced immune-based therapeutics like RNA vaccines, antibody treatments and cell therapies. Collectively, the projects aim to establish an end-to-end drug development pipeline that will enable Canada to mount a rapid 100-day response to emerging pandemic threats and other health challenges. Nice to see Sriram Subramaniam conquer the #VanSunRun this sunny morning, and in Gandeeva blue! This annual Vancouver race for charity was established by Dr. Jack Taunton, the researcher/physician co-founder of the Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Centre and founder of #SportsMedBC. This year, more than 45,000 people registered to participate. Gandeeva Therapeutics staff are an active bunch, with runners, climbers, soccer players, tennis buffs, yogis, and softball players in our mix, and we love to see our CEO leading the way! #WorkHardPlayHard
