Reporting to the Director, Community Impact, the Program Manager – Data & Impact Reporting promotes the values, principles, and customer service standards of the Foundation for Black Communities (FFBC). The Program Manager – Data & Impact Reporting is responsible for program related activities including the collection, analysis, and reporting of data to demonstrate the impact of funded programs. The Program Manager will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of grants and investments designed to improve the economic and social outcomes of Black communities across Canada. On Saturday, June 8th, 2024, The Foundation for Black Communities, in partnership with the Global Coalition against Systemic Racism and the Federal Anti-Racism Secretariat, hosted "Canada's Journey: Advancing UNDPAD’s Goals" in Toronto at Shoot for Peace. Minister Kamal Khera began the day by announcing Canada’s Anti-Racism Strategy 2024-2028, Changing Systems, Transforming Lives, a significant federal investment of $110.4 million dollars. These funds are dedicated to supporting projects designed to enhance the government's efforts in combating racism and discrimination. During the press conference, Minister Khera emphasized that "Canada's diversity is a fact, but inclusion is a choice." The day continued with a policy-driven dialogue focusing on advancing the United Nations Decade for People of African Descent and the global effort underway to establish a second decade. The panelists, Dr. Epsy Campbell, Liban Abokor, Peter Flegel, and Andrew Brown, provided an insightful discussion, invaluable perspectives, and actionable strategies to shape a future, both nationally and internationally, of racial equity and social justice. Le ministre Kamal Khera a commencé la journée en annonçant la Stratégie canadienne de lutte contre le racisme 2024-2028, Changer les systèmes, transformer les vies, un investissement fédéral important de 110,4 millions de dollars. Ces fonds sont destinés à soutenir des projets visant à renforcer les efforts du gouvernement dans la lutte contre le racisme et la discrimination.
