At Evans Trucking, we take great pride in equipping our drivers for success. While we don't serve as a professional training program, we understand the importance of ongoing learning. That's why we’re investing in a library of safety and operations training videos. Whether it's perfecting securement skills, reviewing inspection practices, or demonstrating paperwork efficiency - we strive to arm our drivers with industry-leading knowledge. Access to top-quality training content helps give them the tools to develop their skills and expertise from their first assignment with us. But our commitment doesn't end there. By openly sharing these training videos, we aim to raise standards across the entire transportation sector. A well-trained workforce is a safer and more efficient one, so we make all our content freely accessible for any driver or carrier looking to enhance their skills. Trucking is more than just a business for us - it's a vital industry that we care deeply about. As roads get busier and regulations evolve, ongoing education is key to protecting lives and livelihoods. We truly believe the rising tide lifts all boats. By continuously investing in innovative training programs and media, we hope to strengthen both our fleet and the broader transportation community. It's how we'll develop the next generation of highly qualified professional drivers equipped to handle whatever the open road may bring. Western Star Trucks

In trucking, no two loads are the same. Especially when it comes to tricky cargo like poly pipes. Here's the deal: • Light doesn't mean easy. These loads can be the toughest to secure right. • One-size-fits-all approaches? They don't cut it. • Every load is a new challenge. And we love that. At Evans Trucking, we don't just secure loads. We master them. We treat every load as unique. Because it is. We adapt our methods to fit the cargo, not the other way around. We go beyond the basics. We're not here to meet standards. We're here to set them. When we say 'on time and intact,' we mean it. Every. Single. Time. We're not just moving freight. We're delivering results. Got a load that others call 'challenging'? Bring it on. We're ready. Evans Trucking: Where every load gets the royal treatment. Let's talk about how we can make your loads royalty. #loadsecurement #logistics #flatdeck #hauling #freight

Nigel is one of our last remaining owner-operators and has been with Evans Trucking for over 10 years. He had plenty of advice to share:  • "Trucking is a lifestyle, not a job."  • "Have a positive attitude and seek to maintain a positive outlook; look at the positives in every situation."  • "Plan your financial future, and trucking can give you a good life, though like any job, it comes with compromises."  • "When you are sitting and waiting for a load, get out, walk, or bike around. Interacting with the locals can make a long wait much shorter."  • "Don’t worry about the things that are out of your control." What do you think of Nigel's tips? Which one resonates with you the most? Come back next Monday for more tips from our dedicated drivers. #10tips10drivers #truckinglife #longhaultrucker #logistics
