Industry Manager at Esri Canada - Public Works | Diving in deep on Community Development and Asset Maintenance Management
We had a wonderful time of connection today with more than 50 of our users, colleagues and neighbours at the Esri Canada Pacific Region Cityworks Special Interest Group. 👥 Thank you to Steve Schmeeckle and Myron Doherty for hosting us at the The Laurel Packinghouse. 🍎 Thanks to Greg Maier from our host City of Kelowna for sharing with us their journey of digital transformation with Cityworks AMS and PLL. What a successful journey it has been! Congratulations again 🎉 Thanks to Ron Kim from the City of Surrey and their presentation on opportunistic innovation. It was so interesting to hear about how the right timing, partners, staff, customer, project, and organization combine to create a successful growth environment for innovation around automated asset collection. 🛑⚠️🅿️ Thank you to all the organizations which walked, drove, and flew to get to our event. #cityworks #trimble #assetlifecyclemanagement #esri #gis #assetmanagment #communitydevelopment #localgoverment #innovation #usergroup #kelowna #assets #infrastructure #cities #maintenancemanagement #fieldwork #mobile

Reconstruction of the region presented challenges between stakeholders with varying responsibilities and goals. To address these challenges, Esri ArcGIS was used to create a working model consisting of maps and visualizations in 3D, as well as interactive story maps. 🌊 Learn how they did it https://lnkd.in/eD6sv7WD #EsriWater #FloodManagement #DigitalTwin
