This just in! #teamEORLA met 97.5% of all the requirements for our Mid-Cycle Assessment under Accreditation Canada Diagnostic's ISO 15189 Plus Program. Five teams from Accreditation Canada Diagnostics visited our 18 member sites for just over a week to complete our first bi-annual region-wide unified accreditation cycle. Our organizational structure, quality management system, requirements relating to new tests, and previous non-conformances were each assessed in detail. The assessment included a new version of ISO15189:2022 which incorporated many important new standards for people-centered care. Join us in celebrating this overwhelming success with only 32 non-conformances to action for all sites out of the 1,257 requirements assessed!
