Phase Two of Project SWITCH continues to advance. Over the last few months, the construction crew has been working on demolishing steam and installing the new hot water distribution pipes from our central plant to the campus buildings. In total, 4.5km of new pipes will need be installed to fully convert the North Campus from steam to hot water. Watch the time-lapse to see some of the new pipes being installed in an existing trench. Last week, Ecosystem attended the 3rd annual "Dinner on the Diamond" charity event hosted by San Diego Padres. It was an unforgettable night surrounded by great people in support of our local community. We also had the chance to showcase the new chiller plant and thermal storage tanks that Ecosystem installed at the stadium. Our innovative team utilized the Inflation Reduction Act to help our client replace aging equipment and increase efficiency for just a fraction of the cost.
