  • This year marks an incredible milestone for us at Division 15 Mechanical as we celebrate 20 years of excellence and growth! To honor this special occasion, we treated our amazing team to a memorable boat cruise. It was a fantastic day filled with laughter, camaraderie, and reflection on our journey. Our team is the heart and soul of our success. From those who have been with us since day one to our newest members, each individual brings a unique set of skills and dedication that fuels our achievements. It’s their hard work and commitment that have helped us build a reputation we are incredibly proud of. As we cruised the waters, we reminisced about the challenges we’ve overcome, the milestones we’ve reached, and the countless projects that have shaped our path. Seeing how much Division 15 Mechanical has grown and accomplished over these two decades is truly inspiring. We are immensely grateful for every team member’s contribution. Your expertise, passion, and teamwork are the foundation of our success. Here’s to celebrating this remarkable 20-year journey and looking forward to many more years of building greatness together! Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey with us. We couldn’t have done it without you. A special shoutout to our outstanding admin team for organizing this wonderful event. Your efforts made this celebration truly unforgettable, and we appreciate everything you do behind the scenes to support us. #20YearsStrong #TeamCelebration #Division15mechanical #MechanicalConstruction #AnniversaryCelebration Photo Credit: SitePartners

  • The Canadian Construction Women (CCW) Summer Social was a resounding success this week, bringing together talented and inspiring women from the construction industry for an evening of networking, sharing experiences, and fostering connections. Held at Dockside on Granville Island, the event featured delicious food, amazing drinks, and the beautiful backdrop of False Creek. The evening was filled with laughter, meaningful conversations, and the Vancouver sunshine, creating a perfect setting for industry professionals to bond and support each other. We are proud to share that 9 of our staff attended this event, as the Summer Social is a beautiful testament to the power of women supporting women – creating a sense of solidarity and empowerment that will continue to strengthen the industry. Cheers to more events like this, where community and camaraderie are built alongside infrastructure! #CCWSummerSocial #WomenInConstruction #Networking #Division15 #MechanicalSubcontracting #ProfessionalGrowth

  • It was a pleasure working with Nitro Pipe Freeze Inc on the Creative Energy Mount Pleasant Chiller Replacement project. Pipe Freezing with Liquid Nitrogen saves time and allows us to move forward with our work in an active system. The seamless coordination between Nitro, Creative Energy & Div15 allowed for significant efficiencies with the chiller replacement.

  • Meet Blair, a dedicated and experienced foreman whose professionalism paves the way for successful project delivery while his good nature and positivity infectiously boost our morale. Hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, Blair's journey in the trade began when he achieved his ticket in 1986. With over 40 years of expertise, his career has taken him across the globe, from Fort McMurray to Japan, then back to the pacific northwest to Seattle, and finally Vancouver. His impressive, global portfolio contributing to a such a vast array of mechanical projects has positioned him to be an invaluable mentor and cherished member of the Division 15 Mechanical team. For over two decades, Blair has found his home with Division 15, contributing his skills and passion since his journeyman days. With an impressive range of successfully completed projects under his belt, Blair's experience and expertise are now being applied to our prefabrication department. His leadership truly demonstrates what a remarkable role model he is. Blair’s enduring optimism is captured in his favorite saying: 'Everybody has a bad day, just don’t put another bad day behind it.’ This speaks to his values and how he approaches the world. Blair, we look forward to continuing this journey with you and are excited to share the rest of your working days with you. Thank you for being such an extraordinary part of the Division 15 family. #StaffSpotlight #StaffFeature #StaffExcellence #MechanicalForeman #OilersFan #WellTravelled #Division15Mechanical

We at Division 15 Mechanical are thrilled to have played such a crucial role in an impressive project - the construction of the new 10,644 square meter aquatic and community centre, Təməsew̓txʷ, in collaboration with AME Group and the City of New Westminster. This new community centre will be replacing the legendary Canada Games Community Centre. The new facility was designed to meet the needs and priorities of the community, using public information sessions, community check-ins, online surveys, and City Committees. Included in our mechanical scope of work is the installation of innovative Danish-designed pool equipment, featuring energy-efficient filtration systems and advanced UV technology – the first of its kind to be installed in North America! Cutting-edge technology has been installed to ensure the cleanest possible pool water, including an energy-efficient gravity-operated drum filter which removes over 90% of water particles, a gas stripper for eliminating chlorine byproducts, and an optimized UV system to disinfect and diminish chloramine and other harmful byproducts. We extend a heartfelt congratulations to everyone involved with this project, as the completion of Təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic and Community Centre is monumental. We would especially like to thank our team for their commitment and hard work on this project. Under the careful planning and execution of our field crew – led by General Superintendent Brent, and the dedicated Project and BIM teams from our office. #Division15Mechanical #NewConstruction #Mechanical Photo Credit: Derek Lepper

  • Few symbols are more iconic for Canadians than the red maple leaf, uniting us with unwavering patriotism. Every province and territory of our majestic country captivates us with its natural beauty.    But it is the people who make Canada shine. Their kindness, resilience, and shared values embody the true essence of our nation. As we reflect on our fortune to live and work in this land of opportunity and freedom, we cherish the rich tapestry of cultures, the spirit of innovation, and the sense of community that define us. We are grateful to call this remarkable country home and thank all who contribute to its greatness.    With acknowledgement and respect, Happy Canada Day.    #CanadaDay2024#CanadianSpirit#TrueNorthStrongAndFree

  • Summer has officially begun, and that means our beloved office BBQs are back in action! It's not just about the delicious food and the nice weather—it's about the incredible camaraderie and teamwork that make our workplace feel like a family. From grilling up burgers to sharing laughs, we came together to celebrate our collective efforts and successes. A huge shoutout to all the Admin team, HR and our amazing volunteers! These BBQs are even more fun when we all work as a team to put them together. This year, we're excited to introduce our new volunteer cooks, the Cooke brothers. With the pressure on, they stepped up to the grill and absolutely nailed it! We are already hungry for more sizzling fun, delicious food, and fantastic company. These gatherings are not just about eating; they’re about creating lasting memories and strengthening our bonds. Here's to making this summer unforgettable, filled with togetherness, joy, and team spirit! #officebbq #mechanicalcontractors

  • We're a little late, but our appreciation is just as heartfelt. Yesterday, we honored all fathers and father-figures – the step-dads, the father-in-laws, the single dads, the families with two dads, and the dads of fur babies. Our thoughts are also with those who’ve lost their fathers and the fathers who’ve lost their children. Happy (Belated) Father's Day from our family to yours. #happyfathersday
