🌍 Boosting Digital Health: A Life-Saving Investment A new report from the World Health Organization  and International Telecommunication Union (ITU) shows that increasing investment in digital health could save over 2 million lives from noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) over the next decade. Investing just an additional US$0.24 per patient annually can significantly reduce hospitalizations and alleviate pressure on healthcare systems worldwide. Digital interventions like telemedicine and mobile apps can help manage NCDs such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes, and chronic respiratory diseases—responsible for 74% of global deaths.   The Future of Health is Digital, and collaboration between governments, health, and tech sectors is essential to make this vision a reality.
