🎉 Exciting News: Artificial Brain, USA Wins First Prize in the Emerge Track at the U.S. Defense Accelerator Hustle and Secures $100K in Funding!🎉 💰 I am thrilled to announce that Artificial Brain, USA has won first prize in the Emerge Track at the U.S. Defense Accelerator Hustle, co-sponsored by AFRL, National Grid, and NY State. We will be receiving $100K in funding to further our work in quantum technology. During my nearly 3-month stay at the Griffiss Institute and Innovare Advancement Center in Rome, NY, I had the privilege of learning from incredible mentors like John Liddy, Brian Abbe, Daniel Fayette, Tanya Waite, and Michael Feng, who have extensive experience with AFRL and commercial customers. We also had the invaluable opportunity to connect with AFRL directly and make other important connections. 🚀 It was inspiring to meet with other innovative startups working in Space, GenAI, Preventing Cyberwarfare, and Drones. With China outpacing the U.S. in quantum technology investment by a ratio of 4:1, this is a pivotal moment for the U.S. to lead in Quantum software by supporting companies like Artificial Brain. 🙏 A huge thank you to Heather Hage and Seth Mulligan for their continuous support. As I mentioned, this is just the beginning of our business relationship. 👏 And last but certainly not least, a massive shoutout to my amazing U.S. team — Dana Linnet, Craig Connell, and Bill Gonzalez — without whom we wouldn't have achieved this success. This victory is ours! #ArtificialBrain #QuantumComputing #DefenseTechnology #US #AFRL #Innovation #TechForGood #HustleAccelerator Michael Hayduk Raphael Roettgen, CFA Dean Korsak Ezunial Eze Burts III Lisa M. The impressive speed and performance of D-Wave’s fast-anneal feature continue to inspire researchers around the world, used in over 2.5 million problems over the past four months. Our new whitepaper highlights how the feature helps a quantum processing unit (QPU) operate in the coherent quantum computing regime and can be used to study quantum optimization performance. The whitepaper incorporates results from four recent research papers, demonstrating quantum simulation achievements made possible by fast-anneal, which could lead to breakthroughs in generative AI and materials discovery. It covers how fast anneal can be used to reproduce results, investigate coherent quantum computation, and optimize performance analyses. At D-Wave, we're committed to harnessing the power of quantum technology to uncover new scientific insights. For almost 15 years, our annealing quantum computing systems have been supporting researchers and academics worldwide, including Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), University of Southern California's Viterbi School of Engineering and Germany’s Forschungszentrum Jülich. Our collaborations with leading institutions like these are driving advancements in quantum research, particularly in quantum simulation—an area where our quantum computing systems offer distinct advantages over classical approaches. With our fast-anneal protocol, researchers can perform coherent quantum annealing on systems with thousands of qubits, minimizing thermal noise and enhancing performance. In April 2024, we made the fast-anneal feature available through our Leap™ quantum cloud service. Customers have since submitted over 2.5 million jobs using it, reflecting a highly positive response to the feature’s ability to support their research efforts. The telecom industry is grappling with mounting operational challenges, ranging from 5G rollouts to rapidly evolving customer expectations. Could hybrid quantum help telcos maintain a competitive edge? Today we’re announcing that NTT DOCOMO, Japan’s largest mobile operator, plans to deploy a hybrid-quantum solution, built on D-Wave technology, that optimizes paging signals in mobile networks. Using the solution, DOCOMO found that it can reduce congestion at base stations by decreasing paging signals during peak calling times by 15%, potentially leading to increased efficiencies and lowered infrastructure costs. The approach addresses need for more efficient paging, also known as the process of locating mobile devices within a network. Optimizing this process can enhance both network performance and user experience, both of which are coming under strain as traffic increases. #QuantumComputing, #QuantumOptimization, #telecommunications Read the news here: https://lnkd.in/gqE_kRCN

We’ve captured some of the highlights from our participation in last week’s Quantum Computing User Forum held at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. D-Wave's Catherine G. Potts, Ph.D. shared an impressive Kibble-Zurek demo at our booth — demonstrating annealing quantum computing processes within a coherent regime. Thanks to our Leap™ quantum cloud service operating at jaw-dropping speeds, she ran problems live on our various quantum processing units (QPUs) - without delays or lengthy queuing. This is quantum computing in real time! #QuantumComputing #QCUP #Innovation #QuantumResearch
