Before joining CBIV, Megan played key roles in corporate finance and strategy for a publicly traded mining and infrastructure company, worked in management consulting for a global firm, and even ventured into R&D for a biotech startup. Her diverse experience brings such a unique perspective to our team. Megan is also active in her own community - her role as an advisor and angel investor at the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) in Toronto highlights her passion for nurturing innovation and supporting entrepreneurs, even in her spare time. Highlights of our time in Geneva included: ➡️ Seeing mOm Incubators' James Roberts featured at the Health Innovation Exchange - HIEx Convergence Marketplace to represent innovations addressing the impact of climate change on health ➡️ Participating in 2 Women’s Health and Empowerment Network (WHEN)  roundtables to determine financing solutions for the persistent funding gaps in renewable energy as well as medical imaging and radiation oncology in emerging markets ➡️ Highlighting the importance of putting dollars in the hands of women founders and asset managers to achieve equitable health outcomes at HIEx’s Climate and Health award session ➡️ Speaking to the need and value of technical assistance facilities in improving women’s health and economic empowerment alongside KfW's Gerald Läzer and WHEN's Joanne Manrique ➡️ Reconnecting with old partners and forging new relationships with those who also aim to broaden access to world leading affordable technologies for women, children and adolescents
