Big changes are on the horizon for Surrey! 🌟 BC Hydro is investing roughly $1 billion as part of its 10-Year Capital Plan to keep up with the city’s rapid growth. This plan includes: - Building a new substation in Surrey Centre to power 20,000 to 35,000 homes by the end of 2032. - Redeveloping the Scott Road substation to add capacity for 10,000 to 17,500 more homes. - Expanding the McLellan substation to support 40,000 to 70,000 additional homes. - Constructing a new substation in Campbell Heights, set to power another 20,000 to 35,000 homes.
